Opsnow는 사용자 피벗 기능을 이용하여 리포트를 생성 할 수 있는 Custom Repoort Exporter(이하 CRE) 서비스를 제공합니다.
사용자는 최신의 소량의 데이터를 확인 하면서 원하는 리포트 템플릿을 만들 수 있습니다.
만들어진 템플릿을 통하여 전체 데이터가 템플릿에 적용 되어 리포트를 받을 수 있습니다

모든 클라우드 서비스 이용 고객은,  대량의 비용 데이터를 보면서 분석 하기는  매우 힘듭니다.
이는 웹브라우저의 한계로  대량의 데이터를 한번에 로딩하여 확인 할 수 없기 때문입니다.
이는 엑셀과 같은 응용프로그램서도 마찬가지입니다. 데이터를 로딩하기위해서는 많은 양의 메모리가 필요하기 때문입니다.

CRE는 사용자 템플릿 리포트 기능을 제공합니다.
기본적으로 제공되는 템플릿을 변경하여 나만의 리포트 템플릿을 만들 수 있습니다.
사용자는 Pivot 기능을 이용하여 원하는 형식의 리포트를 만들 수 있습니다.
CRE는 최신의 적은 데이터를 프리뷰 형식으로 제공합니다.
최신의 일부 데이터를 로딩하여 리포트를 구성하며, 전체 데이터가 적용된 리포트를 다운로드 받을 수 있습니다.

  1. 몇 개월의 데이터를 선택 할 수 있나요?
    • 최대 3개월을 선택 할 수 있습니다. 각각의 월별로 생성된 리포트가 첨부된 메일을 받을 수 있습니다.
  2. AWS CSP만 고를 수 있나요?
    • 지금 릴리즈 시점에서 AWS 만 지원합니다. 추후 다른 CSP도 지원할 계획입니다.
  3. 나만의 리포트 템플릿을 만들 수 있나요?
    • 기본적으로 제공되는 템플릿에서 Save As 버튼을 눌러 나만의 리포트 템플릿을 만들 수 있습니다.
  4. 몇개의 기본 리포트 템플릿 목록이 보이는데, 새로운 템플릿을 만들수 있나요?
    • 이들은 기본적으로 제공되는 템플릿입니다. 이 들 템플릿은 수정하거나 삭제 할 수 없습니다. 하지만 새로운 템플릿을 만들수 있습니다.
    • Save As 버튼을 이용하여 저장 후 원하는 나만의 템플릿으로 만들 수 있습니다.
  5. 3개월의 달을 선택 할 때 연속적으로 선택해야 하나요? 예(9월 10월 11월)
    • 아닙니다, 원하는 3개월을 무작위로 선택 할 수 있습니다.
  6. 내가 선택한 월에 데이터가 없을 경우 어떻게 되나요?
    • 데이터가 없을 경우 데이터가 없다는 메세지가 포함된 메일이 발송됩니다.
  7.  왜 화면에 보여지는 데이터의 내용 과 실제 받은 리포트가 다른가요?
    • 대량의 데이터를 로딩하는데 많은 시간이 걸립니다. 사용자 피벗을 위해 최근 소량의 데이터를 로딩합니다.
    • 사용자는 로딩된 데이터를 이용하여 원하는 템플릿을 만들수 있습니다.
    • 실제 익스포트 시에는 선택 된 달의 전체 데이터를 이용하여 리포트를 만들어 메일로 보내집니다.
  8. 동일한 달의 리포트를 여러번 만들 수 있나요?
    • 네. 동일한 조건의 리포트 템플릿은  3분의 지연 시간이 필요합니다. 3분 후 다시 익스포트 할 수 있습니다.
  9. 이메일에 첨부된 리포트 다운로드 링크는 유효 기간이 있나요?
    • 리포트가 생성된 시점부터 7일간 유효합니다.

OpsNow-customers can now get a deeper insight

to their bigger data with custom reports rapidly, asynchronously!

OpsNows new report feature provides functionality for the user to retrieve custom pivot reports for their billing data, utilizing data grid as the pivot component.
Templates can be created and customized. A preview will be shown to the user with a small set of data.
The user can then export a report with a full data set to be received in excel format on email.

For many cloud-customers, it can be hard to keep track of detailed costs.
Especially when you’re dealing with comprehensive infrastructure.
Often, it’s necessary to look into relationships between AWS services to fully understand the whole picture of cost for a specific application or service.

The new Custom Report Exporter-service (CRE) delivered by OpsNow aims to solve this problem by providing a service for generating custom reports utilizing the Pivot-service data grid.
The data grid is a web client-side component designed to view, analyze, and manage multidimensional data online.
CRE provides the user with a preview of a small data set in the browser, where the user can configure a pivot report based on user-created templates.
For bigger data sets, CRE provides an option for exporting the reports to email in excel-format.

CRE is now available for users at Cost Management >  Report > Custom Report.

Start now by customizing your own templates, and exporting big data right to your mailbox. Or use one of our predefined templates to easily access your data.

Custom Report Exporter-Service

  1. How many months of data can I select for exporting to CSV on email?
    • You can select up to 3 months of data. CRE will create a separate report for each month.
  2. I only see AWS available as a choice in the cloud service list, why is that?
    • Only data from AWS is supported at the moment. We plan to implement  support for other cloud services in the future.
  3. How can I make a copy of the current selections in my report?
    • You can make a copy using the “Save As”-button on the main screen. This will create a new report with your current settings.
  4. I see several templates in the template list that I have not created. Why?
    • These are the default templates. They cannot be modified or deleted, but provide an easy starting point for new reports.
    • You can use the “Save As”-button to create a copy of these to further modify.
  5. Based on 3 months selection is there any specific range needed?
    • No, customer can choose any 3 months based on their request.
  6. What if I choose a month which have no records or information?
    • Opsnow will send the email with the information no data found
  7. Why the data in Opsnow screen is not matching with the report?
    • To avoid the loading time when there is large amount of data, we only display the latest records to ensure you can generate report
  8. Can I able to generate the report for same month many times?
    • Yes, you can but there is a time interval of 3 minutes to retry after first email export, system will not allow within 3 minutes for generating same month.
  9. How many days does the downloadable or pre-signed url for report valid for?
    • It is valid for 7 days from the time email sent to the customer
