OpsNow, a leading provider of AI-powered multi-cloud management platforms, announced on June 19 that it has achieved SOC 2 Type II certification, a globally recognized security standard. With this certification, OpsNow has officially demonstrated that its internal controls and systems are effectively designed and operated to protect customer data, meeting the rigorous standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

As the shift to multi-cloud environments accelerates, the need for service providers to demonstrate security and trust through independent, objective standards has become increasingly critical. SOC 2 Type II is awarded by an independent auditor after a rigorous evaluation of whether a company’s internal controls are not only appropriately designed, but also effectively operated over a period of time to ensure the secure handling of customer information.

To obtain this certification, OpsNow underwent a thorough evaluation over a period of approximately three months starting in December of last year, focusing on the “Security” criteria of the AICPA’s Trust Services Criteria (TSC). The audit was conducted by an independent accounting firm, which rigorously assessed the adequacy of OpsNow’s internal control design and the effectiveness of its operations. The evaluation covered key aspects of enterprise systems, including protection against unauthorized access, prevention of data leaks, system availability, integrity, confidentiality, and personal data protection.

By earning this certification, OpsNow has proven that its security framework aligns with global standards and that it is committed to delivering the highest levels of data protection and privacy. This assurance enables customers to trust that the OpsNow platform operates within a secure and verified environment, allowing them to focus on their core business priorities such as optimizing technology investments.
